Atlantic WX has been providing weather routing manually since 2019. But in 2023 the idea of a weather routing application was born.
With a background running a tech Start up in San Francisco, we realized there was an opportunity to improve the solutions for weather routing which existed. A combination of personal routing and automated routing. Where we will be monitoring safe corridors on the passages and provide waypoints which our routing engine will adapt to your boat, crew and personal preferences. We call this Atlantic WX.
We are currently located in the Canary islands, but travel around the Atlantic on our 43 foot cruiser. When not diving deep into the tech trendches or watching lastest grib files tick in, we enjoy the oceans but providing training and experiences.

The weather messages was really really useful. We started out in rough conditions, like you said, but every was nice the rest of the trip. Thank you for your help.

We didn't think we needed weather routing. And when you started taking us further south I was not sure. In the end we arrived before most of the other boats.

You were absolutely right about using predictwind across atlantic. We got routing stright into the no wind zone. I'm glad we went south like you suggest. Thanks.

Such an interesting approch to weather routing. And I must say you got things pretty right. I'll be in touch for our next passage. Cheers.
